We are looking to add to our talent pool by identifying enthusiastic, career-minded team players who wants to get their “foot in the door”. An immediate opening exists for an Event Supervisor (Weekdays) to join our parking team at our downtown events locations in Toronto.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all operational functions in collaboration with the Site Manager (staffing, physical upkeep, etc.) to ensure maximum profitability from the lot, while maintaining a business relationship with the site’s landlord and or property manager.

Jobs Duties and Responsibilities

Staff Supervision:

•         Coordination of staffing for attended sites based on regular manpower requirements and event activity.

•         Staff disciplinary action, including issuing of written warnings. Subsequent monitoring and follow up action, and participation in grievance/dismissal proceedings.

•         Monitoring of personnel to ensure compliance with company uniform and service standards.

•         Completion of paperwork related to staff hiring, transfer, termination, and hours worked.  

Lot Maintenance/Set-Up:

•         Regular review of the lot’s physical condition including landscaping, signage, surface, lighting, automated equipment, etc.

•         Initiation of work orders deal with any necessary maintenance or improvements ensuring that necessary coding information is provided for accounting purposes and capital expenditure items are approved as needed.

•         Liaison with contractors, maintenance department, equipment suppliers, and Landlord/Property Manager during site set-up

•         Ensure that all accounting and contract information is distributed to ensure appropriate internal set up of site.  

•         Other duties as may be assigned.  

Candidates must be available to work evening shifts (4:30pm - 11:00pm) from Monday-Friday as per the events schedule at the Air Canada Centre and Maple Leaf Square.

Ideally you will have a minimum of two years customer service experience with some experience being in a Supervisor role along with excellent communication skills, supervisory experience, and a college diploma or degree. Previous experience within the parking industry is an asset.
