We are seeking two Mobile Patrollers to join our Advanced and Metro Parking team. This is an entry level position primarily focused on parking enforcement, but will also encompass other customer service related tasks. Compensation is $12/hour, plus a car allowance and commissions on tickets written. We are currently seeking one patroller to service downtown Vancouver, and another to service suburban areas such as New Westminster and Burnaby.

Duties & Responsibilities:           

  • Providing positive experiences for all Advanced and Metro Parking partners and clients
  • Educating the public when appropriate
  • Writing legitimate violation notices, and delivering a verbal warning or explanation when deemed appropriate
  • Legibly and accurately reporting any information pertaining to issuing of violation notices or warnings
  • Reporting any deficiencies on locations with respect to appearance, safety, equipment, and lighting to the Patrol Manager
  • Working effectively as a team with Managers and Co-workers.

Skills Required:            

  • Ability to interact with customers in a positive, polite and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills (must be fluent in spoken and written English)
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with use of technology, such as smart phones
  • Previous experience an asset, but not required.

Special requirements:            

  • Must possess a clean driving record and reliable vehicle
