Impark is currently looking for a Fulltime Manager in Training currently at one of our Bethesda locations with potential for various placements. This position will work with our management team to learn operations and aspects of management here at Impark. This position will be assisting managers with various operational and business aspects of locations including revenue, security, event operations, and effectively dealing with construction, Valet, and customer's parking needs.

Compensation: $18.00/hour with potential opportunities of movement/promotion to management when available.

Hours:  Mon - Fri (8am-5pm) - With the ability to be flexible during times of high volume and operationally special needs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an excellent level of client relations by responding and handling client requests and/or issues in a timely fashion to ensure client satisfaction
  • Serve as the liaison between the client and other external sources and Impark, exchanging information among the groups.
  • Review lot performance and manage expenses while ensuring the financial performance/revenue reflects company goals and objectives
  • Maximize budgets with successful financial reporting and forecasting
  • Procure materials and supplies necessary for maintaining optimal job performance
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly to guarantee facility safety and security and to maintain proper revenue control
  • Provide effective leadership and communicate the vision and goals of the organization
  • Ensure that standards of excellence are maintained in all areas of the operation
  • Overseeing the sale of monthly parking permits and ensure adherence to Monthly Parking Revenue Policy and Procedure
  • Learning all facets of the valet parking operations, including covering valet parking shifts, and assisting with traffic control when necessary.
  • Ensure that standards of excellence are maintained in all areas of the operation
  • All other duties as assigned by Impark with the ability to help the facility managers with other projects if necessary

Job Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with strong client relations and staff management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Superior customer service experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle complex processes or issues if they arise
  • Hands-on approach to management
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with clients, customers, peers and management.
  • PC Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite), level II Excel
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties and clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field preferred or equivalent amount of work experience
  • Parking experience and experience stacking cars in a valet environment is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a vehicle in confined spaces

The ideal candidate should have some valet and customer service experience along with excellent communication skills. Previous leadership roles are a plus. Experience stacking cars in a valet environment is beneficial
