Scope of position:

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our team based in Burnaby. The ideal candidate for this position will have completed a post-secondary degree or diploma and is looking for a role that provides growth opportunity within an established firm. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Supervisor role is responsible for a variety of tasks, including, the supervision of both employees and shifts at specific parking facilities; handling customer concerns that require a supervisor’s attention; ensuring company policies and procedures are followed in the correct manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Training: Responsible for new hire orientation training, completion of new hire paperwork, and issuing of uniforms.
  • Customer Issues/Requests: Responsible for initiating and following up on customer request and issues while maintaining a business relationship with each sites landlord and or Property Manager.
  • Incident Handling: Tracking and managing of incident report/damage claims as well as corresponding with customers regarding safety and liability.
  • Pass delivery: Responsible for ensuring parking passes are delivered to appropriate customers.
  • Appearance: Responsible for regular reviews of lots physical condition including landscaping, signage, surface and lighting etc.
  • Daily Revenue: Responsible for the processing of daily revenue of attended or unattended facilities in accordance with the Daily Revenue Policy and Procedure.
  • Enforcement: Responsible for properly enforcing payment guidelines and parking restrictions to preserve and grow revenues.
  • Supplies Delivery: Responsible for accurate delivery of supplies to various locations.
  • Additional duties may be assigned

Skills and Educational Requirements:

  • 2 year diploma in Business preferred
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Supervisory skills
  • Team Player with a high level of energy and positive can do attitude
  • Driven, competitive, with integrity and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to successfully manage and train other employees
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently, in a team, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to balance multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license, access to own vehicle, and clean driving record.
