Impark is currently looking for a Full-Time Parking Manager to work at our Toronto, ON location.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all business aspects of parking operations

  • Staff supervision
    • Provide effective leadership and communicate the vision and goals of the organization
    • Maintain a physical presence at all lots that are staffed
    • Schedule staff based on regular manpower requirements, vacation coverage and event activities
    • Staff training and ensuring that staff are abiding by corporate policies and operational procedures
    • Provide training and guidance to staff on how to resolve customer issues
    • Ensure all staff are in proper uniform
    • Complete staff related paperwork such as but not limited to time cards, vacation requests, uniform issuance, procedural training.
    • Institute progressive disciplinary action as required, including re-training, verbal and written warnings, subsequent monitoring and follow-up, participation in grievance and dismissal proceedings
    • Adhering to the collective agreement
  • Monthly parking - responsible for device activations, deactivations, replacements, cancellations, and escalation of any issues that might arise
  • Incident Handling
    • Corresponding with the customer or parking staff re the incident
    • Reporting, tracking and managing the incident report requirements
    • Corresponding and submitting all required documentation of the Incident to the Claims and the Legal department
  • Reporting
    • Downloading site system reports, working with reports using intermediate to advanced functions in excel in order to format and submit reports to Accounting for invoicing in a timely manner
    • Conduct rate surveys, occupancy reports, stall counts, etc
  • Supplies Procurement and Delivery
    • Monitoring and maintaining adequate supplies at the lot based on company policies and operational procedures
  • Lot Visits
    • Conduct weekly visits to the lots as assigned – to ensure that the facility is operating within the company’s standards
  • Policies and Procedures
    • Abide by policies and procedures of the company
    • Liaise with Policy and Procedure Manager to ensure adherence
  • Parking Equipment
    • Ensure that the parking equipment is working properly, troubleshoot issues, initiate the request for service
    • Perform audit and revenue control procedures on the parking equipment as required
  • Audit and Remediation
    • Perform regular audits of parking devices, tickets, cash, time cards, facility according to established procedures
    • Remediate exceptions noted in order to eliminate deficiencies and ultimately mitigate operational risks
  • Internal Correspondences
    • Respond to emails providing replies that are accurate, complete, timely and courteous
  • Special projects as requested by the Senior Operations Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

University/College Degree is required, preferably in Business

Related Experience & Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced knowledge of excel
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Clean driver’s G license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, motivated, organized, high integrity
  • Strong trouble shooting skills and ability to think “out of the box”
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Able to consistently maintain an excellent level of performance and service
