Impark is currently looking for a Parking Manager for our Minneapolis operations.  This position will be responsible for managing one large high profile location or a facility which may include multiple lots or a small portfolio of locations.  Additional responsibilities for this position is ensuring the location(s) follows operations policies and procedure, maximizes revenue, and ensures client satisfaction and manages employee scheduling, employee relations, and effectively dealing with customers parking needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond and handle client requests and/or issues in a timely fashion to ensure client satisfaction and excellent customer service at the Parking operation location in Minneapolis
  • Maintain an excellent level of client relations by responding and handling client requests and/or issues in a timely fashion to ensure client satisfaction
  • Review lot performances and manage expenses while ensuring the financial performances reflects company goals and objectives
  • Maximize budgets with successful financial reporting and forecasting
  • Procure materials and supplies necessary for maintaining optimal job performance
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly to guarantee facility safety and security and to maintain proper revenue control
  • Provide effective leadership and communicate the vision and goals of the organization
  • Ensure that standards of excellence are maintained in all areas of the operation
  • Responsible for the recruitment and selection process for front-line staff and collaborating with the Human Resources Department on the recruitment process including: job posting advertisements and adhering to the collective agreement
  • Responsible for staff disciplinary action, including issuing of written warnings
  • Responsible for performing personnel reviews and appraisals as required
  • Responsible for managing & training a team of employees
  • Responsible for scheduling of front-line staff including producing and maintaining and updated monthly schedule
  • Responsible for overseeing the sale of month parking permits at and ensure adherence to Monthly Parking Revenue Policy and Procedure
  • Responsible for ensuring all accounting and contract information is distributed appropriately


  • Minimum 2 years of Management experience and training front-line employees preferred
  • Minimum 2 years Parking Management or similar industry experience preferred
  • Self-motivated with strong client relations and staff management skills
  • Superior customer service experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Hands-on approach to management
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • PC Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite), level II Excel
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field preferred or equivalent amount of work experience
  • Parking experience a plus
