Republic is currently looking for a full-time Project Manager to work at our Charlotte, NC location.

The Project Manager reports directly to the Regional Manager and is responsible for all On Street Collections, Enforcement and Meter Maintenance for the Park It! program. This individual serves as the primary liaison with the client (CDOT) being responsible for the daily operations of the program, This individual will have daily interaction with the Park It! contract administrator and secondary interaction with CDOT managers and officials. This position will work Monday-Friday from 8a-6p with other hours/times as necessary to provide the client/operation the necessary support per the contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management oversight of all day-to-day operations with the following operations staff members: one assistant project manager, one on street enforcement agent supervisor, one lead enforcement agent, 9staff enforcement agents, two collectors/maintenance members, one bookkeeper, and two customer service representatives.
  • Oversight of the personnel function including hiring, promotion, disciplinary actions (including dismissal) and implementation of pay adjustments and promotions of facility personnel, as appropriate.
  • Coordination of the budget process with the client; and the programming tools necessary to monitor and maintain cost control.
  • Strong leadership in resolving operational, management and customer service problems.
  • Direct response to requests for action from the client including assisting the client with ad hoc reports/projects.
  • Assisting in preparation of operating reports (weekly reports, monthly statements and reconciliations, and annual reports) to ensure timely submittal to the client.
  • Establishing, maintaining and monitoring customer service principles and hospitality standards to ensure quality public relations.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and implementing programs to foster staff development and employee training, improve customer relations and enhance motivation and dedication.
  • Enforcement of rigid cash handling procedures, daily and monthly reporting and management of P&L, budget and payroll.
  • Follow human resource protocol and fulfill human resources related duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • 5 years of on street parking management/operations experience with a mid-size/large municipality. Preference will be given to a person that has been in a director/lead management role for municipality.
  • Very Strong Organizational/Customer Service Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of on street parking equipment and industry trends is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to pass a drug/background screening
