We are currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, Learning & Development. This position will be based out of our Downtown Vancouver office and reports directly to the Director HR, West. The Senior Manager, Learning & Development identifies, develops and delivers training systems and solutions to support employee performance requirements for all Impark operations throughout Canada and the US.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify training needs through analysis (e.g. data collection, surveys, interviews, etc.) to establish performance requirements
  • Utilize the traditional instructional design model to identify training program learning objectives, identify the appropriate methodology to deliver training, create and execute implementation and communications plans, etc.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop content for training materials
  • Monitor training and employee effectiveness
  • Present and work with clients on special training project requests
  • Assist with location openings by designing and delivering training programs as driven by the location's specific needs
  • Manage the Learning & Development team

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Training/Learning & Development or another related field
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant training and development experience, including instructional design experience is required
  • Must have an excellent command of PC and Microsoft based applications
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to successfully manage and train others
  • Ability to innovate and come up with creative solutions to meet and deliver learning and development requirements
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
