We are currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill our open role as a full-time Supervisor of Bus Operations, Safety, and Training to work at our Baltimore (BWI) location.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight, coaching and counseling to Bus Operators, Dispatchers, Customer Service Reps, and any other applicable persons.
  • Monitors availability of vehicles and manpower for the operations on a daily basis.
  • Review staff schedules and daily manifests for efficiency and operational performance.
  • Conduct new hire, refresher courses and ongoing safety focused trainings for the location.
  • Create reports and compile all necessary documentation both current, and historical, relating to operational issues.
  • Evaluate Bus Operations to determine training focuses and assist the safety manager with the development of campaigns to address any identified needs.
  • Professionally and confidentially enforce the procedures and policies delineated in the Employee Handbook, DOT regulations, and local division procedures, as well as be aware of our contractual obligations.
  • Respond to client requests and investigate customer complaints.
  • Interface with other Division personnel such as the maintenance department to ensure the achievement of Division goals.
  • This role will require up to 95% of work to be performed outdoors and up to 5 percent off-site. You may be exposed to various weather conditions when out in the field
  • All other duties as assigned by impark

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience
  • At least two (2) years’ of  Supervisory or management experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant and verifiable experience and/or training in a safety and training program or course, where certifying the standards of transportation was the primary focus.
  • Previous responsibility of departmental trainings and certifications as it relates specifically to Bus Operations and transportation, passenger movement, and safety or other relevant experience.
  • Candidate shall possess working knowledge of the transportation requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (as amended) and other related legislation and regulations.
  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsements.
  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership ability and be able to work independently as well as on a team with various departments for different projects.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Lifting is required and may never any more than twenty-five (25) pounds
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screening

Work Schedule: Position is full-time; work schedule may include nights, early mornings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays. The preferred candidate MUST be flexible and able to work non-traditional business days and hours.

Compensation: $19.00/ Hour with competitive benefits package
