We are a seeking a Contracts Assistant for a three month contract, with possible extension. This position will provide administrative support to our Legal team and is ideal for someone who is looking to practice and develop their legal administrative skillset.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administration of the Deal Engagement and Location System (DEALS), including:
    • Input and update data in DEALS based on signed contracts
    • Activate/terminate contract terms in DEALS
  • Administration of the Contract Management System (CMS), including:
    • Upload signed contracts and other related documents in CMS
    • Execute (activate) signed contracts in CMS
    • Search and download historical contracts in CMS
  • Assist and provide support to the end users of CMS and DEALS.
  • Liaise with other departments regarding data and functionalities of DEALS and CMS as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines while producing quality and consistent work
  • Proven ability to plan and organize workloads by establishing priorities and respecting deadlines, as well as the flexibility to accommodate unexpected situations
  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • Superior organizational, communication and time management skills
