We are seeking an enthusiastic Valet-Patroler to join our team and fill our varying work schedules in locations in and around downtown Seattle.

Job responsibilities:

  • Maintaining Impark's esteemed standards of customer service, appearance, vehicle cleanliness, and communications.
  • Writing legally supportable parking penalty notices.
  • Accurately report any information pertaining to issuing penalty notices.
  • Report any deficiencies on locations with respect to appearance, safety, equipment, and lighting.
  • Accurately enter and retrieve information pertaining to vehicle identification, and status, using handheld computer
  • Correctly identify vehicles parked in violation of applicable statutes, ordinances, rules, or laws.
  • Notify supervisor of situations involving vehicles that may need to be towed.
  • Accurately enter vehicle information into handheld timed parking program and return at regular intervals to issue penalty notices when parking time limits are not exceeded.
  • Prepare and maintain required records, including logs of patrol activities.
  • Write parking penalty notices for improperly parked vehicles.
  • Maintain assigned equipment and supplies such as a handheld computer, mobile printer, smart phone, digital camera, rain gear, etc.
  • Observe and report hazardous conditions.
  • Provide assistance to motorists needing help with problems, such as flat tires, keys locked in cars, or dead batteries.
  • Hit ALL lots the designated amount of times per shift and keep documented logs
  • Interact and communicate with guests and provide the best possible service
  • Safely operate, park, and retrieve vehicles
  • Complete paperwork as necessary
  • Store and secure guest keys and cash/credit card payments
  • Provide directions to tourists, hail taxi cabs, assist guests with luggage when arriving or departing
     

Job Requirements:

  • Must have valid employment eligibility to work in the US.
  • Must possess clean driving record.
  • Possess own driven vehicle. Will be reimbursed for mileage.
  • Good communication skills, customer interaction and decision making skills and basic calculations.

Compensation: $15.25 per/hour.
